Shipping & Returns Policy

At Ballistic Barn, we strive to process every order quickly, accurately, and professionally. Please review the following Shipping & Returns Policy before placing your order.


Shipping Policy

Shipping Carriers

Ballistic Barn currently ships exclusively via UPS.

At this time, we do not offer USPS shipping.

UPS can deliver to Post Office Boxes via UPS Ground Saver.


Shipping Locations

We currently ship only within the 50 United States.

We do not ship internationally or to U.S. territories.


Order Processing

Orders are processed in the order they are received.

Most in-stock orders ship within 1–3 business days, unless otherwise noted on our website or homepage due to temporary shipping delays, holidays, product availability, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Processing times do not include weekends or holidays.


Signature Required

For your protection, all merchandise orders over $100 require an adult signature upon delivery.

Please ensure someone is available to receive your package.


Billing Address Verification

To help prevent fraud, your billing address must exactly match the billing address associated with your payment method.

If incorrect billing information is entered, your financial institution may place a temporary authorization hold on the transaction (typically 24–48 hours), even though Ballistic Barn has not received those funds.


Shipping Accuracy

Please verify that your shipping address is correct before submitting your order.

Ballistic Barn is not responsible for delays or additional shipping charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.


Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Shipments

Once an order has been accepted by the shipping carrier, delivery times are controlled by the carrier.

If your shipment arrives damaged, please notify Ballistic Barn as soon as possible so we can assist with the claims process.


Firearm Purchases (Where Applicable)

The following applies only to serialized firearms and other items requiring transfer through a Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer.

If you purchase a firearm from Ballistic Barn:

  • Enter your receiving FFL's shipping address during checkout or include it in your order notes.

  • Contact your chosen FFL and have them email a current copy of their Federal Firearms License to [Insert Customer Service Email].

  • Please have your FFL include your full name and order number so we can match the license to your order.

For security and compliance reasons, Ballistic Barn does not contact FFL dealers on behalf of customers.

Orders requiring an FFL transfer cannot be processed until a valid license has been received and verified.


Know Your Local Laws

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that any product purchased from Ballistic Barn is legal to own, possess, receive, install, or use under all applicable federal, state, local, and NFA laws.

Please verify all applicable laws before placing your order.


Returns Policy

Customer satisfaction is important to us. If you need to return an item, please review the following policies.


Return Authorization Required

All returns require prior authorization.

Returns received without a Return Authorization (RA) number may be refused or significantly delayed.

A return shipping address will be provided once your return has been approved.


Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless Ballistic Barn determines that the return resulted from our error.

Please ship all returns using a prepaid, trackable shipping service.

Ballistic Barn is not responsible for items lost during return shipment.


Include With Your Return

Please include:

  • A copy of your original invoice or order confirmation

  • Your Return Authorization number

  • A brief explanation of the reason for the return


Standard Returns

New, unopened, unused, and uninstalled merchandise may be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery for a refund or exchange.

Returned merchandise must:

  • Be in brand-new condition

  • Show no signs of installation or use

  • Contain all original packaging

  • Include all accessories and documentation

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.


Opened or Installed Merchandise

Items that have been:

  • Opened

  • Installed

  • Used

  • Modified

  • Missing original packaging

  • Returned with damaged packaging

may be accepted solely at Ballistic Barn's discretion and, if accepted, will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.


Shipping Charges

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Ballistic Barn does not provide prepaid return shipping labels except when required by law or when returning an item due to our error.


Inspection Period

Customers have 7 calendar days from the date of delivery to inspect their order for shipping damage or missing items.

Claims submitted after this inspection period may not be eligible for replacement or reimbursement.


Defective Products & Warranty

If an item is determined to be defective within 30 calendar days of delivery, it may be returned for inspection under our warranty policy.

After inspection, Ballistic Barn will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the item

  • Replace the item with the same or equivalent product

  • Issue another appropriate warranty remedy

Refunds are generally not available after the initial 30-day return period.


Ballistic Barn Warranty

Unless otherwise specified, Ballistic Barn-branded products include a one-year limited warranty for the original purchaser against manufacturing defects.

This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from Ballistic Barn.


Manufacturer Warranties

Products manufactured by third-party companies—including but not limited to SIG SAUER®, Wilson Combat®, Tromix®, and other manufacturers—remain subject to their respective manufacturer's warranty policies.


Serialized Firearms & Receivers

Serialized firearms and serialized lower receivers are not eligible for refunds.

If a warranty issue exists within the applicable return period, the product may qualify for repair or replacement.

After 30 calendar days, warranty service for serialized firearms and receivers is handled directly by the manufacturer.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return unless required by law:

  • Serialized firearms

  • Serialized receivers

  • Blemished products

  • Gunsmith Specials

  • Clearance items

  • Products specifically marked "No Warranty"

  • Products modified by the customer

  • Products damaged through misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper installation


Order Cancellations

We process orders quickly and generally ship next business day.

Although we will make every reasonable effort to honor cancellation requests, we cannot guarantee cancellation once order processing has begun.

Orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled and must instead follow our standard return policy, if eligible.
